Small Groups are Getting Started

Looking for a way to grow closer to Jesus and other people?  A small group is a great way to do both.  Small Groups are groups of people who meet on a weekly basis to study the Bible, discuss a topic or read a book.  Time is also spent each week praying together and sharing what is happening in our daily lives.  There are a variety of groups, times and locations to choose from.  Look for the Small Group Flyer on the Information Table and sign up for the group that fits your schedule best. Most of our groups will begin the week of September 15th.

In this series, we will explore the most common questions of faith that people asked Google.  What answers would you give to these questions?

August 25th – What is Love?

September 1st – Who is Jesus?

September 8th – What is the Church?

September 22nd – What is a Christian?

Please pray for children, youth and teachers as they head back to school, please pray for people who are struggling with mental illness, for us to hear God’s voice and have strength to go where God leads, for those who are having surgery, for upcoming medical tests, for God’s peace in the stress of work, for a softening of our hearts to understand needs and concerns of one another, for patience and understanding in hard relationships and places, for strength for parents, for growth of faith, for our children to make decisions with grace and wisdom, for difficult relationships and forgiveness, for all United Methodist churches, for those who are grieving and healing from loss, for those who are searching for work, for those who are healing and recovering, for those who are fighting depression and anxiety, for Crosspoint to continue to grow into what God is calling us to be.
