Hammer and Nails Project

Crosspoint is partnering with Hammer and Nails this Summer.  Hammer & Nails is an ecumenical Christian nonprofit outreach organization based in Canton dedicated to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged area homeowners through home and property improvements.  A big thank you to everyone who collected loose change in the box house banks.  We will now prepare to help with a house improvement project by supply the labor on Saturday, June 29th.  If you would like to help with the project, please sign up at the information table.  If you have any question, please contact Johnny Mayer at 330-592-3698.

Take Time to Play Day

Come to a fun summer event at Crosspoint held outside in the parking lot area of the church (we will be inside if it is raining) on Sunday, June 30 at 11:30am, right after service. There will be food, games and prizes, a bouncy house, music and face painting. You don’t want to miss it! Invite friends and family. All ages are welcome. It will be fun for all! If you have any questions, contact Megan Betz (330-418-2334).

Royal Family Kids' Camp (RFKC)

Mark your calendars for this year's camp:  July 14th – 19th.  RFKC is a one week camp that Church of the Lakes and Crosspoint sponsor to provide an experience of love, success and hope for children in the foster care system ages 7 - 11 years.  Both volunteers and monetary donations are needed.   Sign up forms and donation envelopes are at the Information Table on Sunday Mornings.  Please consider helping with this great outreach - it is an amazing experience!

Recycling Program

Crosspoint is a drop spot for Paper and Cardboard recycling.  Every time they empty the bin we receive money for our mission projects.  So before you throw out that newspaper or cardboard think about missions and drop it in the bin on Sundays.

Please pray for Claire as she has oral surgery as well as her recovery, for kids adjusting to summer schedules, for safety for youth and leadership of Hyde Park UMC in Cincinnati serving at an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. Let their light shine! Riley Knauf is there with them, strength for parents, for growth of faith, for our children to make decisions with grace and wisdom, for Melisa Wallard for healing, for baby Merisa as she continues to make progress, for Michelle Tilstra's niece Kaci, who gave birth to her son Landin Earl and both are doing okay, for difficult relationships and forgiveness, for all United Methodist churches, for those who are grieving and healing from loss, for those who are searching for work, for those who are healing and recovering, for college students, for those who are fighting depression and anxiety, for grace and peace toward others in our daily work and interactions, for our search for a new Director of Youth and Children's ministries, for Crosspoint to continue to grow into what God is calling us to be.
