Youth Group Gatherings

Our youth group gatherings for grades 6-12 will meet tonight, December 10th, from 7-8:15pm.  All are welcome!  Contact Amy Price at amyeprice85@gmail.com or 330-904-1573 if you have any questions.

P.A.C.T. (Participation at Crosspoint) Forms

The purpose of Crosspoint is to bring families and individuals into a deeper, loving relationship with Christ and others.  Our relationships with Christ and other people are continually developing over our entire lifetime as we continue to become Disciples of Jesus Christ.  The process of becoming a Disciple includes Growing in our love for God and Other People and Going to Serve Others. Each one of us has the opportunity to continue to Grow and Go.  Participation at Crosspoint allows us to evaluate were we are Growing and Going.  P.A.C.T. also challenges us to continue to Grow and Go.  Families, individuals and youth are encouraged to spend time in prayer and discussion to see where God is calling each of us to grow and go.  We will be bringing our completed P.A.C.T. Forms forward and placing them on the Alter during the offering time Today, December 10th.

Refuge of Hope Winter Coat and Hat Drive

Christmas is a wonderful time of year to share gifts with others.  This year we are going to be collecting coats, hats, gloves and socks.  Refuge of Hope not only serves meals, but also has a men’s emergency shelter and distributes items to women and children as well to help them make it through the winter.  The hats, gloves and socks need to be new, but the Coats do not have to be new but should be in good condition!  Feel free to bring any of the items on Sunday morning and place them by the mission tree in back of the Worship Center.

Christmas Eve Luminaries

Once again this year on Christmas Eve we will have candle luminaries lighting our way to worship.  We are in need of plastic gallon milk cartons.  Please wash out your empty milk cartons and bring them with you on Sunday.  Please contact Allen Wells (330-417-0254) with any questions.

Crosspoint Family Gifts

In past years we have collected monetary donations in order to share with Crosspoint families who are struggling this time or year.  This year we have received an anonymous gift that has gotten us well on our way.  If you would like to make a donation to add to the total, please place it in the specially marked envelopes found on the Welcome Table and put it in the offering basket by Sunday, December 17th.

Crosspoint Ornaments

We have decorated the Christmas tree in the entryway with ornaments that have Crosspoint families’ names on them.  If you would like to add your family to our Crosspoint Family Tree, please see Katy Hoffman in the lobby on Sunday to sign up.  If you added your name last year, take a minute as you leave to see where your ornament is hanging!

Children's Christmas Program

Our JAM kids will be performing Christmas carols as a part of morning worship on Sunday, Dec 24th.  They will be rehearsing during JAM each week leading up to Christmas.  Please mark your calendars!

Christmas Eve Worship Services

Christmas Eve is on Sunday this year.  Sunday morning at 10:30am we will celebrate the Fourth Sunday Advent.  Our children will be sharing with us Christmas carols as a part of our morning worship.  In the evening we will celebrate our Christmas Eve Candle Light Service, one of the most exciting and special worship services of the year.  We come together as family and friends to celebrate the birth of our Savior.  The service will begin at 7:00pm.  In the midst of our Christmas gatherings, let’s join together for a time of carols, candles and hearing the story of Jesus' Birth.

Year End Giving

December 24th will be the last Sunday we can receive monetary gifts to either the General or Building Fund in order for them to be posted on your 2017 giving statement.

Please pray for those who are struggling with cold and flu issues, those who are healing and recovering, for us to keep our focus during the Christmas season, for a co-worker of Jeremy Whitton who passed away after a battle with cancer, for those who are healing from the loss of loved ones, for Crosspoint to continue to grow into what God is calling us to be.

The children are thankful for buying Christmas presents, Christmas trees, family and friends, Canal Fulton parade, the stars, the library, and for Christmas. They ask for God’s help with school and homework, surviving guests, putting up decorations, and finding the elf.
